General Information

Lancaster University Guest Rooms provides bed and breakfast accommodation set on the University campus, situated a 10-minute drive from the city centre.

Each guestroom has an ensuite bathroom and if you choose the B&B option, breakfast is provided each morning at Marketplace, a 2-minute walk from the accommodation.

The University carparks are fully digitalised and enforced by Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR). Charges for car parking are in operation 24/7 and visitors must pay for their parking at an on-site, card-only payment machine, or using RingGo UK. The campus includes a great selection of restaurants and bars, a sports centre, an art gallery and a theatre are also located on the campus. Please click here to read more about our Campus.

Check in is 15:00pm daily, check out is 10:00am daily.

There are no lifts in the guest room blocks, please let us know if you require a ground floor bedroom when you make your booking.

 From Monday 10 August (8am) until Monday 17 August(5pm)   essential repair works will be undertaken to the lift in the Underpass.

 A diversion route will be in place for those who are unable to utilise the stairwells whilst the lift is out of operation. Should the diversion route not be suitable due to accessibility requirements, Security will be available to assist and can be contacted on 01524 594541.

 There will be no changes to bus services. More information on bus services is available on the Lancaster Bus Users website.
