Lancaster University Guest Rooms provides bed and breakfast accommodation set on the University campus, situated a 10-minute drive from the city centre.

Each guest room has an en suite bathroom, desk, wardrobe, iron, ironing board, hairdryer, towels and linen. There are tea and coffee facilities in the room and free visitor Wi-Fi available across the campus. There are no televisions in the Guest Rooms. If you choose the B&B option, breakfast is provided each morning at Marketplace, a 2-minute walk from the accommodation.

The campus includes a great selection of restaurants, cafes, and bars. The sports centre includes a gym, climbing wall, swimming pool, sauna, and squash courts at an additional cost. Important information

- Check in is 15:00pm daily, check out is 10:00am daily.

- There are no lifts in the guest room blocks, please let us know if you require a ground floor bedroom when you make your booking.

- The University charges for car parking. Visitors can pay for their parking at an on-site, card-only payment machine, or by the RingGo app, or using the RingGo website. Detailed instructions on using RingGo to pay for parking are signposted at all visitor car parks. Visitor parking is free between 6pm-8am, Monday to Friday, and all day Saturday and Sunday.

From 1 October 2025, all car parks at Lancaster University will be fully digitalised and enforced by Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR). Charges for car parking will be in operation 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.*

Visitors are required to pay for their parking at an on-site, card-only payment machine, or using RingGo UK. Detailed instructions on using RingGo to pay for parking are signposted at all* car parks.

The first hour on campus will be free to allow for pick-ups, drop-offs, and deliveries. Charges will apply for vehicles parked for longer than one hour. Please note, the hour begins when the vehicle enters campus, not when the vehicle is parked.
